Default were do i stand with my alarm thats gone wrong?

ok my toad alarm is fooked suspected blown control box it got fitted by car alarm warehouse based in bedford it was fitted on site and have all certifications blah blah.

the man who i have been speaking to i only have a email and is taking ages to communicate and i need my car started asap.
i havent got the time or money to get it towed anywere were do i stand with rights?
its only 6 months old?

Well, it will have at least the usual 12 month warranty. As for the fact that you can't communicate with him easily, this further demonstrates the importance of dealing with proper companies.

If he is a good bloke, then surely if you send him a text telling him you have a problem, then he will call you back and sort it.

If not, then he's hardly a good bloke is he?

Toad warrant the alarms for 12 months, but depending on the small print, this usually does not cover removing or refitting due to a fault!!
It is a piece of cake to bypass, though other things are worth checking first.
It would be worth phoning toad, if he is an authorised dealer of toad, as most are not but still fit them, they don't have to answer to toad that way.
In the long run if gone wrong, it might as well be replaced with a Ai606 about £110 from the bay, if you can't get hold of him etc.

Toad used to have a lifetime warranty, i had one replaced after about 7 years but i had to pay the labour costs.
