would the 83lbph black injectors be best all round to supply the fuel for 500bhp?

or is it best to use the 55lbph
I think Jay ran 4x83lbs on his RS500 and that did 520bhp, was mapped by Stu.

8 injectors on a 4 pot Cossie are king, injector clips do NOT fall off and unless your wiring loom is sub standard .. wires don't fall out either
Go cheap if you have to!

i think the 4 siemens 83lbph injectors would be fine for what i'm after, aslong as there enough to fuel for the car at 2bar of boost max. I'm not fussed with having them look fancy or anything by seeing 8. I want to see the engine make 500bhp through my wrc 200 cosworth block which should be strong for the boost. Maybe using gt35 turbo or a gt30 depending on what will make the car nice to drive aswell.

so what benefit does 4* 1000cc injectors bring over 4 * 850cc - just extra headroom for further tuning, or is there a trade off?

I'm running seimens 83lb injectors on a P8. I've had trouble getting them mapped right when they're off boost because when im on idle or just cruising at low rpm, they're over fuelling.

The engine is with Joe @ Bluesprint at the mo for some new pistons and bigger cams etc, and he said he spoke to Amed about these bigger injectors and said that he said that even when they're on the shortest pulse duration they can't get them to deliver the right amount of fuel at idle and low rpm.
One answer would be to get a nice new ECU I suppose, but I'm still saving, or swap them for smaller injectors. I think seimens do some 72lb ones. They might be up to the job for 500bhp and hopefully better for fuelling off boost

My 3 Door is on 4 x 83lb injetors and idles perfectly and I cruise at around at 13.7 to 14.8 off boost with no closed loop fitted.

Oh and Holly Thread Resurrection by the way!!
