2wd,4x4,late spec cosworth. Cylinder head identification....
whats the visible differences on the outside forgetting rocker cover and camshafts, my temp sensor is located at the front and turbo oil feed fron the rear, wondering what my head is as i have a 200 block. Been told its all late spec escos stuff.

Temp sensor at front side of head near thermostat area is 2wd, it will also have lug on side for turbo damper, unless machined off.
Oil feed for escy/4x4 cossie is from side of head halfway along on turbo side, at rear are the oil gallery plugs so if it is fed from these, just look for gallery black half way along, how many holes for stat housing ?

hmmm interesting, the cam cover is early spec. But there is a diagram in the history folder stating which bolts can and cannot be used as the head is escos, so it apears i have a 2wd head on a 200 block. Think ill whip the head off before fitting stage 3 bits to check it all out.
As for stat housing its dark now and i cannot get in my garage
