Default Okay, last PC question - PROMISE, pmsl....

What is better spec to have?

40gb HDD, 256mb RAM, Intel Celeron chip + 2.66GHz processor

or

40gb HDD, 512mb RAM, Pentium P4 Chip + 2.3GHz processor

???

As I ca get both for pretty much the same money

The P4 one does also have a CD-RW and DVD-RW, whereas the first one only has CD-R/DVD combo, but not too fussed about that as I know you can get these drives cheapish off ebuyer

So really it's a toss up between the two specs as above

Help me - I am a twat

So would a 2.8GHz Celeron not be better than a 2.3GHz P4?

Cos I don't get this processor shit

Right so provided the P4 one stays under £300 (my limit) then I'll have that instead of the new one from Dell (celeron one)

Only thing is I obviously won't get any warrenty for the 2nd hand one
