Software questions.....

What is Microsoft works?
My PC has normal Word, Excel, Outlook express, etc....
Microsoft works saysit has Works edition Word, and Works edition Excell etc....
???
So can this be changed to the full normal version? And is that possible if you know someone with hte software CD for that programme? Can you just insert and install/upgrade???

What is a soundcard? Systems say "no soundcard supplied" but still get speakers with em - does it mean you can still play CD's and say, downloaded movies on the PC without this soundcard?
(My laptop won't emit any sound from the speakers (built in) when playing CD's as it says no soundcard installed
)

I dont think it can be upgraded but you can remove and install normal office.
