Well an alarm wont stop it getting knicked, and a tracker wont. Tracker will find it but in what state!

Get a good immobiliser wired properly into the loom. Get a disclock, and try not to park it anywhere it can get towed. About all you can do really...If they want it theyll have it!

a removable steering wheel is possible to so it cannot be drove away.

but at the end of the day if they realy wanted it they could just brake into your house and take your keys

If you want a tracker the best i can recommend is the RAC Trackstar - it tracked a mates bmw when it was stolen to its pinpoint location within 10 mins & with RAC you also get a call everytime the tracker is set off such as attempts to move the vehicle when armed, put onto a low loader, etc - just hope i never have to use mine in anger but it certainly gives you some piece of mind

exactly every alarm immob ive removed from cars have always been fitted/wired in obvious places you could have the best cat 1 bla bla alarm but at the end of the day you can get em out in mins n hush the siren up! a couple of well hidden switches and relays will do the job lol,one in centre rear ash tray no one would ever think to look there! well maybe now. . . .
