My laptop has just decided to update to Windows Live Hotmail and i hate it Its so much more awkward to use and navigate than the old hotmail we all know.

anyone know if i can choose to set it back to the old fashioned run of the mill hotmail?

its a blatant case of changing something purely for the sake of changing it, old one wasnt broke so dont fix it

mine was also changed today. logged in in the morning...normal hotmail....logged in tonight....STUPID HOTMAIL LIVE BOLLOX

I refused to "upgrade" it months ago because I hated it.

Nothing you can do about it. You should have recieved an email a few weeks ago notifying you the automatic change will take place. I made the change to live mail beta well over a year or so and have got used to it. I have turned off the email preview window function from the start, so it's still very much like the old style hotmail

theres an option in "options" menu and "page setup" i think it is, that will let you go back to the old style.

had live for a good 6 months, proper crap, then a few days ago reinstaled xp, and got old hotmail back, so so much better0 hope the fucker aint updated!

how can any of you not prefer hotmail live??

its MILES better!

you get a split screen to preview mails which is handy!
it saves all sent mail which can be handy also!
when adding names to a mail to send its MILES quicker as it offers suggestions as you type!
you dont have to go to another page to open an attachment!

im honestly amazed that people cant like it!

i love it too, again been on the beta for about a year but it does have problems. main one being no uk english dictionary!

and for some strange reason when i delete a email it simply reproduces another in my inbox, so i'll have 2 of the same email until i move to another folder then come back and it's all ok! no idea why!
