Cheap second hand discs on ebay at the moment. I think I would buy a new set though to be honest.

Any disc will crack given enough heat, but micro cracks are nothing to worry about anyway, obviously if more, do worry!!
You can help them a lot by cryongenic freezing of them first, not many places do it but there is a place in Stowmarket, Suffolk that does, mkaes a world of difference, used on rally stuff(?) but defo on all engine components used in Nascar etc.

What PCD - 203.7? What width - 28mm?

At a guess, are they drilled discs by any chance? If so, replace them with grooved items which will last far longer .

What size comps do you run? Maybe a 330 disc could be used as a direct replacement, it would only require four spacers and you could use your original bells.... I have these discs on the shelf .

That will be the problem, the DS2500s are really are fast road pad, so to run them on a high powered car with such small discs would mean that the pads would have over-heated and this would have transferred into the disc, cracking them. You really need to change the pad material to the DS3000 for track use to stop the same thing happening again, and then save the DS2500s for road use .
