And i the other thing i would of changed is to of bought a cossie years ago. Ive got one now and i think ive got the cossie bug. What a nice feeling.

Yep a few.

I would have studied more in 5th and 6th year so i got more/better highers.
Not fucked up at college,

not dated two of my ex's as they were/ one still is a total head ache,
Been more easy going at school, and made more mates. I love the ones ive got but just think that i missed out a lot due to the circle ive kept.

Finally have the balls to write an e-mail that could change my whole life for the better and open the world to me, but i cant word it/im a big shitebag and dont want it thrown back at me

but ive done loads of things that i wouldnt change as they have made me who i am.

I know its fuck all mate but when you have a morgage and bills to pay and a cossie 2 run and a wedding next year 2 pay for. 250 quid comes in handy for other things. Plus the fact if i was on the dole and if i was of a ethnic background i would be able to get a course for nothing. But since im working and earning money i carnt get a course for free.

If there was one thing I could do differently in my life it would have been to go to college after my GCSE's and complete an engineering specific course (IIRC it was HNC's then onto HND's then a degree back then) rather than the non specific A-Levels (Maths, Physics and Design Tech) I actually did....

I feel I wasn't guided in the correct direction by my school, they knew all I wanted to do in life was work within R&D in the motor industry (engine design) and led me to believe A Levels would be fine, so I stayed there...

I lost interest in the courses I was doing (Maths PURE and Physics dont mix well IMO) and as a result didnt acheive the results I should have, didnt get accepted to the one uni I really wanted to go to (Loughborough) and consiquently turned down the places I was actually offered at a couple of other university's (for a degree in automotive engineering), as I didnt feel completely ready for it :-( (getting on for 10 years ago now!)

Sounds a little sad, but as happy as I am doing what I am doing now I feel I missed my vocation so to speak...

One day I will study for another A level I think and perhaps some kind of degree part time just to prove to myself I could have completed one

theres alot i would change deffo

but tbh my life is perfect the way it is,,,,,, could be ALOT fucking worse and ive got no debt, no money worries and get to do most of what i wish i could do

infact i should think harder and be a little more carefull with cash ect as i would be doing even better

but at the min my child, the missus and me dont want for anything we need and get loads of shite we dont need,,,,, so if i was to change things when i was fucking about at school i may be like my mates who are in debt and aint got the free cash i got and in jobs they dont actually like

i NEED to stop being lazy though,,,, buts its just too much like hard work

I regret quite a few things

Being a absolute biatch of a teenager to my mum and step dad - even now my step dad wont talk to me, i was that bad.

I wish i told my grandma i loved her and hugged her - she died few years ago RIP (If any family members try and hug me i push away for some reason :s and i cant tell them i love them - fcuked up i know)

I wish i never wasted so many months feeling down and depressed but hey im gonna make up for the lost time

life is like those odd jobs on cars, its a long frustrating learning process that makes you very good at something you will never have to do again

The only thing I regretted was not sticking with further education when I was 16/17 and getting a job. Iv now quit my job and restarted at college doing motorsport and I plan to stay there for the next 4/5 years to get a degree. Everything else im reasonably happy with.

i would have studied a little harder at my first uni, and completed my 2 years earlier than i did (had to transfer after fucked up the second year), made more of effort to get into engineering early, rather than do van driving for 2 years.

would have at least 6 years engineering experience, more money and maybe a place by now

dont get me wrong, i'm on the right track now, just a little later than most

Went to uni for 2 years to study chemistry and maths, didn't really do my best, and i left (read got kicked out ). Not sure if i regret that or not as i probably wouldn't have the job i have now if i hadn't of gone...

Absolutely love working where i do now

I have a nice car, girl friend of 4 years and looking at getting a house in the next 18 months.
Only 23 so i think im doing ok at the moment
