hi all
HI I'm a noob (have alreadyu posted a question)
site looks good,
My last involvement in Fords where 3 Capri's
Mk.2 1.6 S
Mk.3 2.0 GL
Mk.3 2.8i
Was also a member of Capri Club International
Now my weekend car is a 944cab but main car (is an Astra) which I'm looking at changing for a 1.6 Focus.

ONe thing I liked about Capri's,
Everyone used to flash and wave, especially remember the meets at Stoneleigh.

errrm, supposed I am,
I grew up going to Dance clubs that used to play "Shalamar"
Snickers where called Marathons
I could get the Bus from Hanwell To Ealing Broadway for 5p
Cruising in mates Capri (Mk.2) listening to a tape called "Night Dubbing" by Imagination
does that give you a clue.
44's on the board... cool
as I said I'm looking at buying a Focus, so hoping to get advise when needed. Friendly looking board.
Am on MigWeb (Vauxhall) one of the guys on there pointed me in this direction

re: the focus I saw today
funilly enough the guy selling it I know from a dance club I goto to
Everything seemed ok, execpt no servcie history book (Though was told it was somewhere)
the clutch felt really low (or my astra is really high), brakes where bang on, performance was good, bodywork good, tyres where near the wear markers (as I do 250 miles a week !)
so gave it a miss.
