Default on rollers 2moro how much power/lb/ft? we have a winner

as title as of lack of funds/badluck escort is back up and running split no3 liner on last outing at timeattack brands hatch, so i purchased silky 16v's cosworth engine out of his bmw e30,

spec of engine now is standard head, cams, pistons, rods, grp a h/gasket on stetch bolts with my swedish plenum bolted on side 1000cc injectors motec management coil pack etc,gt 30/40 turbo remote wastegate running 1.5bar boost mapped last weekend at motec must say picks up mint,

prize for the one who gets it spot on is a mars bar plus set of rear 30lb helper springs in red

Sorry to hear about the new engine (it seems to have been nothing but trouble for you ! ). What is Simon going to do about all the issues, as you have invested loads in it, and I remember you posting about the warranty on it?

Who did supply the block? I suppose now you know why I only get the engine done by one person, as then that one person can't use any "get-out" clauses .

So what did they attribute the cracking to? I remember seeing your original posts where you were saying the engine was nearly 9.0:1 compression - surely that has to be a contributory factor? Is Simon not prepared to help you out in anyway to see the engine running to it's true potential?

u are correct in what you say but im having a break from cosworths for a while going to take up fishing

ryan no surge/no lag had it remapped by motec had more fuel put in below 3000rpm and some taken out above 6500rpm+ pointless revving any higher must be the quickest 0-60, 0-100 car ive owned it takes no prisoners off the lights who needs low/high comp keep it 8.0-1

All cossie running gear

It does peak about 25psi midrange and drops down to about 21-22psi at the limiter.

oh wasn't aware of that only minor though like you said,
I don't do rebuilds by halfs mate if ya gonna do it once and once only it does have a HP 5bar 4x4 pump fitted

hope it make the power ya want should be good torque too due to it retaining standard comp ratio

This is the power it made on a 4x4 manifold T34 (0.63) msd chip, greens & 3 bar & straight threw 3" exhaust system (loud)
