water temp guage
ive got a racetech water temp guage in my car, only problem is it dosent work, its got a 12v live to the rear also a earth, it lights up fine but dosent read, ive got a adaptor for the rad hose with a sensor in, there is only one wire connecter on the sensor, that goes to the rear of the guage, does the sensor have to be earthed somehow, or im a going wrong somewhere else? thanks al

if i put a earth the the sensor wire on the back of the guageit goes mad and reads full, so where does that leave me?
