What tyres for Series 2?
I need to get a new set of tyres for my series 2.
Can any one reccomend what would be best.
Its still got origonal wheels, but iv heard of some people putting 45's on instead of 50's, which is better and why?
Also has any one used www.bestbuytyres.co.uk
Thanks

Well just a quick comparison:
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's:
Best Buy Tyres: £49.67
My Tyres: £36.70
Plus I don't know about postage on best buy tyres but its free on my tyres as long as you but more than one tyre, which you surely will
Postage is quick too

Best buy includes fitting though.
I think they sell tyres for a range of companies, i looked and i can buy them off there, and go to MR Tyre and have them fitted, old tyres disposed of, balanced for the price,

PassionFord Post Whore!!
some places will charge up to a tenner a wheel to fit them so take that into consideration
often they dont like people bringing in their own tyres (cos the can get em cheaper on the net) so will amrk up the fitting
i used valuetyres as they give a fitted price and have loads of fitting stations near me
just pay online, then turnup and have them fitted, no hassle

I dunno about you, but I certainly don't pay £13 to have each tyre fitted, balanced, put back on the car and the old one disposed of
