Bristol people - bars and clubs recommendation....
Right, some help required.
I'm an usher at a wedding next year, and I'm helping organise a stag do with the best man. The groom has specifically stated that we're to stay in the UK, and Bristol has been chosen as the most convenient venue for all concerned.
We're sorted for what to do in the day with "activities" etc, but just want some good recommendations of some clubs so we can start to organise ourselves, bearing in mind there are 20 of us.
I've been to Bristol a few times, and have been down to the waterfront/riverside bit - I'm sure we were in a Pitcher and Piano down there, but needless to say, I can't remember any of the names of bars or clubs we went in. We're staying in the city centre, so presume everything is walking distance.
Bars and clubs recommendations please!
Also, if anyone's a golfer down that way, could do with a recommendation of maybe somewhere to have a hangover round on the Sunday - public access course.

Oceana and syndicate are the main 2 i think mate.
Syndicate being a bit of a hole IMO. Oceana seemed ok though!
the water front and Park street are the best 2 places for bars etc i'd say.

Beer Kellar, or whatever it's called - the locals will know where I mean.
We did a Stag Do there, with a stripper and it was an awesome venue! Basically looked like something from a Dutch / German Beer festival with hundreds of people sat at long tables drinking huge pitchers of Beer.
Was packed with hen and stag do parties - loads of on stage entertainment - they are very good at laying into the Stags / Hens on stage - DEFFO a 10/10 Stage Do Venue!

Si - that could be quality, as we're not doing the lapdancing thing - groom is a little pussy whipped, but stripper obviously has to be done etc....
Re: clubs, these boys aren't "clubbers", so cheesy is probably better than quality....

Seriously good night out - very cheesey, mega social (loads of beer games, swigging from big "Steins" of lager etc, tons of other stag and hen parties in there) Band on stage too. Not sure if the venue itself organised the stripper, but they certainly welcomed her in there even if she came from elsewhere!
Only got a few crap photos as I was bladdered (silly green hats or wigs are normal in there apparently ):
What are you doing Day time activity wise?

Saturday we're going Clay Pigeon shooting and mud buggying by the looks of things.
Should separate the men from the boys - in other words, I'll be good at both, so should whoop them all!
