think it will be easy enough just to go over and see one you like Mark.

we went on the way back from the ring once and stayed over, you do tend to do a lot of site seeing.

not sure what it will be like with your gf.

have a good time.

i was in the dam tues/weds/thurs last week

it was ace, we stayed here:

http://www.amsterdamhotels.demon.co....andtplein.html

nice hotel, very cheap if you book over the phone, and in a great location, away from all the scummy bits

there are 2 places i throughly recomend, kadinskys coffee shop, excellent weed and a wine bar called 'the vyne bar'

the largest collection of wine, excellent service, and great choice of snacks too, cheese salami etc....really great bar

oh and go to collins too for cocktails

When me and Donna go we stay here:
http://www.nh-hotels.com/nh/en/hotel...-schiller.html

It's in Rembrandtplein where Ginge stayed last week. Really good location and some crackin wee bars/cafes that spill out into the square.

Ginge,

I was in Amsterdam on Tuesday and Thursday with my work. Went up to Rembrantplein on the thursday night for a Steak at the Three Sisters Steak house. Did you try it in there - always amazing.
