Default Indicators working but flashing too fast? How to fix? Legal?

Sorted the wiring etc for the side repeaters on the Chaser today, so now all 6 indicators on the car work.

BUT indicators are still flashing fast, like they do when one isnt working?
Not MEGA fast, but faster than they should.

Pressing the hazard light switch makes them all flash slower, so its not normal speed.

Any ideas how to fix that?

And is it legal? Im guessing its got to be isnt it, i mean they all work, just blink slightly faster than usual.

Is that what affects the speed? I cant see how it could, otherwise itd not go at normal speeds when you press the hazard light switch?

it will cos the hazzards flash all six ligths at the same time.... ive had it happen to me before when ive removed full indicators and fitted smaller ones wth lower voltage bulbs.. i just hid another bulb in the syatem somewhere for the mot ,

could use a different relay though if you cound find one that fits and operates at a lower current

this happens quite alot when people use the led type bulbs, which draw almost no power at all and the flashers go fookin mental the led bulbs also put all the bulb failure lights on, in my saff

Ahahhahaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh i see.

That makes sense as these side repeaters arnt original, they were a mod, as they dont even have em as stock, they have bumper front ones, and kind of side ones where the front ones are on a saff, ie next to the headlight.

I think they removed the bumper ones and made em in to side ones as the bumper would be ripped off so often when drifting it mustve fucked the wiring up.

As ive no idea even where the relay is, some extra bulbs might be a good look

So some more bumper ones i guess

Just a thought, but have you checked the wattage on the bulbs you have fitted? you may be able to change the bulbs you have fitted for some with a higher wattage...

No, not checked, didnt even realise itd matter.
I just ripped some side repeaters out of a Celica in the scrapyard, put em in my pocket, and did one

fit another set of bulbs as said
but try and put it somewhere that it will make sense rather than hiding it away, you might find it a bit difficult if the bulbs blow and you can't find the fookers

Should be between 60 and 120 flashes per minute.

just more cost, botch it and hide some bulbs lol! relays are cheap enough tho, get it all the time when pple have fitted these led side repeaters that dont draw enough current for the relay to see!
