Default gear box help

hi wat gear box can i put on my mk3 escort that will be ok with my turbo engine as the 3i box sounds rough..any info would be great thanks

Sorry to state the obvious, but how about a turbo 'box?

you will need a mk3 box or at least the centre casing as its where the front g/box mount bolts to, you can put a mk4 box in it but will need to fab up a mount bracket

A mk5 bc or ib5 gearbox will fit you just wont have the lsd that a turbo box has.

so does a s1 have lsd ....some one told me they dont.does any one know where i can get one from...thanks

that some1 is a lier it does have an lsd & even better but ive been told that a s1 diff kicks in faster that a s2 one (so the theory goes)

& youd get one in the rs parts for sale
