I have another key for my st24 how do i program it i no its someting to do with the ignition put dont no the sequence to do it in

Alright mate here goes,

You have to flick the ignition to the on position 4 times in 3 seconds the alarm light next to the clock will illuminate when this happens press the lock button on the remote then the light will flash as its learning the code let it do this for 5 seconds then turn ignition off then back on then off again and hey presto job done

hi, anyone help mondeo st24 r reg lock the doors then alarm starts going off. just got the car the key fob has 2 square s on it one with 1 arrow and other with 2 on it. which does which? had batterys changed but they dont do anything. what is wrong with it! if i could find alarm box might help.

 

I had a similar problem a few years ago on my R reg Si, in the end it was diagnosed as a faulty/worn bonnet sensor and even when the bonnet was closed the alarm system thought it was open. The guy at the Ford garage said that this was quite a common problem so changed the dodgy part and it cured the problem.
Regarding your key fob, see the link below as it could be that if you changed your batteries it could nee reprogramming. Just locate which fob you have and follow the relevant procedure.
