I need to send out a few hundred quid in the mail, post office wont let you insure cash, will anyone else?

I did think of sticking it in a small package and saying it was a necklace of the same value or something, but just wondered if anyone was happy to take cash and insure it.

Person the other end doesnt want a cheque to pay in for tax reasons, lol

use a postal order, can be exchanged at post office for cas without the need for a bank account etc.

where in scotland?

if it was near me you could pay to my acocunt and i'd pass it on. Next sat im heading to perth so that covers a bit of ground south.
There are also other people who'd do the same further south if need be i guess.

being serious now tho....my post office advises to send cash via special delivery instead of using postal orders coz of the mark up on p/o's,special delivery is guarenteed next day and is insured

the po does a 'Special delivery' post,send the cash by that way,it will be there next morning too.
