where can I find out how much an old book is worth?

A relative of mine has a copy of "The Scout" (like a Scouting manual, dib, dib dib, and all that), which is over 1000 pages, from 1935! Must be worth a few quid.

Any ideas?

shops mate, find out who sells this sort of stuff with the view to them thinking you are flogging a few old books and see who tries to rob you the least
