yer get what you mean mate, so the silver sticker on the front always faces out..
but do they have to both go behind the intercooler on the rad..
or one on cooler and one on rad?
or both on front?
would like them both on the front but will this result in high temps as the air wont be passing through the cooler well enough...
or should i put one in front and one behind or one behind and leave one off the front of the cooler?

Are they Kenlowe fans?
Get on their website and look at the part number: this will tell you if it a "suck" or "blow" and you will then know which way round to fit them.

fit the fans as they are in the picture. the inter cooler goes whereever you want it will get good enough air flow. especially when your driving.
but i didnt 100%get what you ment so can you put some pics up of the ways you were on about please

i mean can both go on the front and be ok (keep the temps down to the rad in traffic)
or will i have to put one fan one the front of the intercooler and then on on the front of the rad (which is behind the intercooler (as its a full width front mounted intercooler)
or just one fan that will be on the radiator (like it is standard, but obviously the standard fan wont fit as its to thick)
pics:
one fan on the front of the intercooler and one behind on the front of the rad
![](https://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2536/mk4007bz5.jpg)
or like this, just not have one on the front of the intercooler and basically replace the standard fan (which wont fit) with one of the kenlowe fans (which is thinner)

i get you now, if the inter cooler is infront of the rad there is no need of having fans on it, its only ever going to be in use when your driving and it will be cooled then. put them both on the rad as they are okay.
thanks for clearing that.

I think people put them on the front of the cooler for looks. Obviously they will both be Blow fans if fitted to the front.
Iirc this is arranged by how the airflow direction: front to back. So in front they blow through the cooler, fitted behind the suck through. Dependant on whether the engine runs too hot or cold even then you may only require the one fan, which I'd fit in between the cooler and rad.

both fans are blow and you can either mount them on the rad or the intercooler ive got mine on the rad both ways will need small modifications, ie on the rad i had to move the rad back with brackets and a smaller alternator belt ,and on the intercooler you would need to bend the lugs on the cooler to move it back towards the rad and remove the foam and metal bar from the bumper which helps with clerance and air flow

Both on radiatior mate as long as they are blow ones
although, had to do it like this on my old one, as they just wouldnt fit on the rad
![](http://stuhyde1.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/interfin2.jpg)
yet on my current one - not a problem, maybe down to the version of the grs, or the fact I have a radtec rad (thinner) on this one

If they're blow and fitting between the rad and cooler, make sure they're the right way.
Upto you really on where and best-fit for them: if they'll go between the 2 if that's how you want them fitting. If they won't fit, you'll have to squeeze them between the cooler and bumper.
