Not strictly speaking a van, but my current mode of work transport is this:

Just doing a small home job for my new double garage, this is normally a very quiet residential street

Our old sprinter is in the background in a few photo's. Its hanging now, done 190k and seen more sideways action than most mk2 escorts

Replaced by a pishy FWD transit can just make it out in the far right of this picture.

I have always wanted to be a lorry driver since I was a kid, I had hundreds of model lorries all over my house and always took one in the car with me, I don't think I would be able to drive one now as I can't do any heavy lifting or stand for long. What do you think mate?

Cheers, Benni.

Cheers, Benni.
if you find the right company( i have )there is no heavy lifting( how heavy can a box of crisps be?) as for standing, the worst part of the job is having to sit at a distribution centre and watch dvds in the cab and get paid a good wage.
try phoning a local training company for an assesment. they usually give you a taster session to see if it suits you before wasting a fortune.
go for it

Benni , trunking is the term we use. but lgv 1 is the class but you have to go through lgv2 first. that is rigid vehcles before they let you loose in an artic vehicle.
costs aroung 2 grand for both licences

Here's ours. Needs lowering though. We don't really carry very much weight in it TBH and it looks like its on stilts.

Its looking like the Astra van is the favoured wepon on choice.

I will post some pics of mine in the next couple of days once the porno old skool Momo Arrows are fitted and the Astra SRI suspension.
