Default Are Viper 480xv Alarms any good?

Has anyone had any experience with them? as i was thinking of getting one.

What other decent alarms are about?

i read somewhere that you cant disable the ultrasonics though

I think he means the interior sensors mate.

I know of three people now with the Viper alarm system and they all rate it especially for its value for money.

Never had a Viper, but i have always found Cobra and Clifford alarms good

You can do what they call a 'one-time bypass' on any of the sensors on a Viper.

I have the cheaper 460XV on my Fiesta and can't fault it.

Default alarm

i have one fitted to my cossie and find it fine its a cat 1 and if you forget to lock the doors it will still alarm itself albiet not lock the doors

The fob has a pager function and can control up to four cars

yeah i meant the interior sensors, sorry. Seems like a good alarm then. Might go for it.
