Does anyone know if it is ok for the missus to travel using her maiden name as we are planning a trip to new york soon and haven't changed her passport to her new name since we got married. Also anyone know of any decent places to stay in nyc that are not too expensive?

my mrs didn't even have her other surname on her passport, and everythng is still good, from passport to bank accounts

as long as the name on the passport matches with the names on the tickets etc you'll be fine

then, when you've come back you can get everything changed over in one go, just need to fork out a few quid for stuff is all
