up and till today i hadnt played on either a 360 or a PS3, but in pcworld they had a 360 with Forza 2 and a ps3 with motorstorm on it, and i can say for certain the graphics on motorstorm were so much better than forza2, the cars looked like they got jaggy edges and stuff on forza2 whether it was the LCD they got the 360 hooked up i dont know but motorstorm looked so much better, and i had loads more fun on it, i even had people waiting behind me so i had to get off and let someone else have a go

I know this debait is an age old but for me i had loads more fun playing motorstorm than forza2, and motorstorm looked better as i say.



p.s yes i have only played Forza2 on the 360 but from playing a game on each id buy the PS3

Dunno what it is about Forza, but it just looks like they've tried too hard to make it look as real as possible with too much blurring and depth of focus. Although i have a PS3, I must say the 360 is still winning hands-down when it comes to game choices. Hope Sony get their act together soon, bring on GT5

i cant fooking stand motorstorm
so if i only based my reason to buy a ps3/xbox on those 2 games, i would not have bought the ps3...

i love it for other reasons than motorstorm

I just thought it was fun, flying around and turbo boosting over the ramps etc the only thing about it is that its hard not to crash and burn but then i guess you get better at it and know how to keep it on 4/2 wheels.

Graphics are superb on motorstorm, nobody can deny that though

It's good fun but I just hate waiting for online games to start, the process of waiting in the lobby is so dull, and picking cars and options takes long it's like an old 486 pc sometimes.

ahh i did think it was slow at picking cars etc, but then i was just thinking its probably me not pressing the right button to start because i hadnt used a ps3 before, now i know it was just slow anyway it took just as long for forza 2 to load up anyway

I think were all just impatient, we want technology to be instant

TBH thats like comparing Gran Turismo to WRC Extreme or something.

One game has thousands of cars, maps etc. the other has a few.

Hense the decent detailing on one game over the other.

The other game i went on was a golf one on the ps3, PGA something or other, now im not into golf but it looked almost real

Yeah, finally some decent games are comming out in the next couple of months... sony just seemed slow off the mark!

I got Eldar Scrolls on the PS3 when it came out... I'm still playing it now!!! And it looks better on the PS3 than the XBOX version. Plus came with content the XBOX version didn't have.

Motorstorm was great, but typical launch title, good for a while. Want a proper off road racing game Colin McRaes (RIP) DiRT looks miles better.

Resistance is still one of my favorites!

NFS: Carbon just looked pants still not a bad game thou.

DIRT is out on the PS3 now.. looks good! One car game is enough for me, so gonna hold out for FIFA..

something you might find funny, when i started playing motorstorm i was driving using the "x" button and i wondered why i kept randomly blowing up soon worked it out though
