Burglars *LOOK HERE*!!!! LOL
I had to laugh this morning, on the way to work, I saw a house where they had put their Green recycling bin out and beside it were the boxes for a MASSIVE Plasma TV (42" or 50", couldn't quite see) and the other home cinema separates. Looked like quite alot of good kit they had bought. 
It was like a real actual advert for what is inside their house.
Do people not actually think about what they are doing? Maybe they just did it to show off to the neighbours. PMSL.

see it often round my way... best one is the people in the upstairs flat from mine who have the box from their 50" plasma in the window as some kind of makeshift curtain/blind... at least that way there can be no mistake exactly who has the blinging tv!

Id say they just never thought, and of course it wouldnt fit in the green wheelie bins so they just placed it next to the bin.
I agree i wouldnt do that if id thought at the time, id break down the box or something

See it all the time when I am out and about doing jobs - plasma/LCD screen boxes, speaker boxes, amp boxes, PC boxes, DVD boxes etc etc.... And it is just like a shopping list - it screams out ot people passing by "look what I just bought" so of course any would be theives are thinking "rah, look what they got in there! Lets nick it"
