Proper sucks this kind of shit! They deliver the stuff, and you don't check it cos a) you aren't there (someone else signs for you) b) it's impractical and half the time c) the courior guy won't wait for you to check it before signing....

Then when you find out it's fucked they won't do anything about it cos you signed for it!!!!

I always sign stuff as "unchecked" and often leave a reason - "unchecked due to driver not waiting" or similar......

Is it definalty damage done by the courier or was it like that before maybe 9and maybe blamed on the courier. probably not but you never know. Obviously check the packaging around the areas and youll see straight away.

I don't thin kyou can blame then for the washer jet, but probably the corner being bent, altho it doesn't look to be fresh damage...

Probably both partly to blame then. I always get people sign unchecked, although im not actually sure if this would cover them though. Is it one of the big couier companies or a smaller one? Id ring someone high up and explain you couldnt check it on the street and only signed to say you have received it. Worth a try.

I hate this! The best one was i had to pick a parcel up for the depot. Bit stickers all over the package saying if i signed for it and it was damaged then tuff shit.
The woman behind the counter wouldnt let me have the package until i signed for it! WTF

I can't have it till i sign for it, but if i sign for it and its damaged then im buggered!
