Who has an Xbox 360
I a thinking of getting one as the games look awesome, the thing is I didn't really play my PS2 much as the games took too long and I got bored-is the 360 better, ie are the games more playeable, I don't want to be playing a game for 6 months
What I want is to be able to pick the game up from where I left off and have an hour or so on it before switching it off-more arcadey if you know what I mean

As much as they are the bollox and they really are lol if your only looking for arcadey type games then go back a little and get a super nintendo or something.
Problem with all the new gen consoles they try and get so realistic etc that the games are just not as enjoyable anymore or infact actually get you stressed
Don't get me wrong i love how hard the games are etc but i reckon 90% of the games on the 360 are not pick up and play then carry on 3 weeks later lol.
The only saving grace for you may be the xbox live arcade as you can download loads of old arcade games like track and field, gyruss etc.
Now if your more into seriously fantastic driving games (pgr 3, forza 2 etc) in fact i'd buy one for call of duty 3 alone then go for it and get the 360 but if it is a case of just having an hour of mucking about etc then download an emulator and play old mega drive, snes, arcade games direct on the pc

Buy one mate they are great for next gen and all the classic's that are downloadable on xbox marketplace
Even if it's a big next gen game that are massive ie gears of war, graw.
They are on live so you could have an hour killing people and not worry about saving.
I had a ps2 and hardly played it, the 360 i'm on everynight.
Had it nearly 2 years been playing on line for 18 month's and its very addictive.
Hope it helps but buy one

I have one - I generally agree with the comments made - it is very good. Only real irritations are twofold - firstly that I still think that the virtual physics engine of Gran Turismo outclasses all others, which means that the PS series still have the edge.
Forza is nonetheless prettier.
Need for speed is awsome, though not exclusive to the Xbox
The other real gripe is the absolute refusal of Microsoft to provide XVid and Divx codec support for the gadget!

Xbox 360 is awesome.. played on both PS3 and Xbox and though Ps3 the Ps3..
Only thing is our 360 is currently away been replaced after getting the 3 rings of death bollocks.. But I put that down to my brother keeping it next to a radiator and a curtain over the top
but no problems with xbox.. phoned up and got told it would be repaired and sent back within 3 weeks or a straight replacement would be sent free of charge

I got a Nintendo DS, the games are mostly the ones you can pick up, have a quick fiddle with then put down and go back whenever you have 5 minutes spare.
Plus you can play it on the toilet which is always a bonus as that's where I get most bored.
