I have just bought an Evo 7 with various mods... Gotta say that the handling wise its the best car ive ever driven.. Diff has 3 settings, tarmac, gravel and snow but TBH i cant really tell the difference (not in hte week of owning it!). Had her up the strip at the weekend and managed a 13.2 in the wet which werent too bad.. Was in the wet last night and decided to try this so called superb handling thing out... Toed it in second straight over a roundabout, and where all of the rwd and 4x4's ive owned (inc. escort cossie and my old WRX), and where they would just slide out, the fookin evo just gripped like shit to a blanket!! Was well shocked!!

Am well happy with her so far, and so glad i got the 7 over a 6 now.

Out of interest, does anyone know what spec/power that Orange Evo at National Day on Sunday was? That was well rapid!

Cheers chris is yours the french blue one for sale on mlr mmmmm nice I prefer the evo 7 too but i want a low mileage standard uk car.

yeah it was the french blue one on there. I bought it from him last week. Well happy isnt the word!!!!

Why do you want a UK one?? Your paying a premium for an identical car!!!! They all came off of the same production line.

I thought imports was set up for higher octane fuel and its alot harder to check history and are they rustproofed underneath but then again i might be talking bollocks

The 7 was NEVER an official UK car anyway, there was only a handful eversold as UK cars. I think these were officially imported by Ralliart
The imports are not rustproofed underneath, but you can get this done for not a lot of cash
They are suposed to run at 98+ RON so optimax will be fine, also the odd splash of octane boost, as sold in most high performance retail outlets.....like mine....will keep the import sweet.
They are, as an out of the box performer, much quicker than most other standard cars you can buy today, for the money.

As Chris said above, all the same mate. If you are worried about the fuel then uprate the management. I run GEM's management on mine which enables me to run optimax or unleaded at the flick of a switch on the dash. Just switches between 2 different maps i think.
