Who runs a Pectel T6 and could check something for me?

Stu,
The drawing was done for the loom on my car...the pectel fax is just a typical wiring schedule, some people actually wire add on's slightly different...it shows the crank sensor grounded at both points (40 & 46) I dont think it makes any difference pal...
An obvious question pal, have you got the cutout on the 36 tooth wheel in the right orientation with TDC?
Ian

OK, just to update as I am pretty sure I have narrowed it down to the phase sensor. Dont see that grounding issue being a problem as the crank is grounded to those separate pins and works fine.
Mitsi, ive tried inverting the phase but no luck. Thanks.
I am defo getting a crank signal. I see about 300RPM on the Deskpro when cranking
Iain, you pulley comments are making me wonder now! Ive had a 36-1 trigger wheel properly machined onto an original 2wd pulley in the place of the old 4 trigger points, but is it in the right place?
Not the best of shots but you can see how its done. Does anyone have a picture of an cossie 36-1 crank pulley that I can just compare mine to to be sure?
Also, any Deskpro experts.....what is the field name that you would expect to see a reading against for the phase? The only one I can see is Camhistory and that shows 0000 all the time.
Wheres Gareth when you need a nice comforting rub.............

Stu,
The cut out is in the wrong place compared to a 909 t6 wheel I have at home....the cutout is not quite 180' opposite the keyway....if that makes sense....

I think its this sync problem......As Ryan said it shows no sync in the deskpro and my pulley is obviously wrong.
I decided on having one made up as I needed to keep the normal fan belt config. Would be difficult to run a poly v belt as I have a tiny alternator setup on my car due to space. Maybe I should get a normal late escos 36-1 pulley and convert to poly v?
Cheers for all the help gentlemen....sure I will get there in the end and I owe lots of people beers and passenger rides should our paths cross in a pub or on a track!
Will update on progress later!

Polly x, don't you just hate it when you get something that looks really cool but just won't work!
I had that with my MD240 Turbo! looked the part... was utter shite!
Good luck getting it sorted. Sounds like it is now
Well done all the chaps that helped

I reckon Iain should just send me that 909 one to help me set mine up.
Promise I will send it back
Are the 909 ones easy to get and can you get the normal twin fan belt pulley in alloy to bolt to it? Anyone got one in stock?

In deskpro you can set the degrees after TDC that the gap is. Can I just change that value instead of getting the pulley modified?

If you were closer pal, i'd bring it round...ive never seen one take a twin 'v' belt...they are all poly vee... I only have 1 poly vee bottom pulley, which is on my car
TDC is determined by the key, at 12:00 its TDC as shown in the pic off me and martin...use that as your datum, then as tony say just re-drill to suit your wheel...
The 909 ones are a little rare....i think ATM had one but they command top money....

I think its in the ECU HARDWARE, ENGINE POSITION SENSORS, CRANK TRIGGER WHEEL setup menu.

Answers on a postcard.
I may just keep changing it 10 degrees at a time in the map and check rather than remove the pulley and remount the wheel.
I should get it right after a maximum of 36 attempts!!!!

150 degrees?
geometry was never my strong point....i reckon it wants to be 130 degrees more or less with the pulley as Stu has it at the mo...

once its running theres a accurate was you can get the correct number
clock an accurate TDC, then mark from a static point (i use the sesnor body) around the pulley and mark on the pullyy in a line
using a digital timing light, start the car us, and gain a steady idle,!
look on descro desktop to see what the actual ignition advance is (total)
dial this advance number into your digital timing light
your two original marks should line up under the strobe light, if they dont adjust the advance/retard on your timing gun till they do
now subrate you descpro total from the figure you have on your gun!
this number needs to be added or subrtracted from your "angle after missing tooth" figure in your software
