Default Ebay help

Basically I've just sold a load of stuff on ebay. All my listings said I would only post to the UK. A guy from Hungary has won one of my auctions and wants the item posting and has threatened neg feedback if I do not post the item. I'm not too bothered by the neg feedback, but he's just being a pain in the baackside

Does anybody know how I can cancel his bid??

Any help appreciated

Paul

What is it? Has he paid yet? Can't you just post it to Hungary and save yourself the agro?

If it's fairly small, it'll not cost alot with Royal Mail.

You could report him to Ebay, but it's alot of agro to argue to be honest.

Has he paid you for the item? If not tell him to do one

Payment has not been made and I've told him to politely do one however he keeps going on and on about me posting it. Literally his first email to me after I sent him a message to say he had bid in error was threatening me with negative feedback. There's no way I'm now going to post it to him. I'm not that fussed about keeping 100% positive feedback and certainly won't post it just bacause he's threatened me.

Besides the winning bid was Ł1.44. It's hardly like there's enough money in it for me to retire on

File an unpaid item (the buyer wants it sent overseas) if your listing states uk only!

I did that once before when a Nigerian bidder won one of my items, but have tried to do it this time and the option is no longer there. I also have to wait 7 days to do this.

Thanks for the advice tho!!

Just tell him you state UK only, but you will send it him as a one off, go the post office and see how much it will cost, then charge him double or even more, nothing he can do then, plus u can make a quick tenner or so, not the most amount of money, but at least your laughing at his expense.

Or alternatively tell him you have no problem wrapping the item up and sticking his address on it but HE has to arrange collection by courier or other means. Then its in his hands to sort it / pay for it!!!!

If you stated that you would only post to the UK then he has not followed the terms and conditions you have set out. As he has broken these you have no obligation to him at all.

As a few others have said. If he really wants the item then make him setup a courier to collect the item from you or charge him a stupid amount to post it !
