Default big decision??? update!

ok i might be getting to old or something but was counting up the cost of some aero fittings yesterday that i need and i thought"f**k this for a laugh" its not daft money but its just another drop in the ocean of higher power cosworth ownership(i need a clutch too ) and then maybee a box then diff etc etc...........and on and on. i dont feel i get out what i put in with it!!

dont get me wrong it is mind blowingly fast, stops very quick and handles good but it always needs another thing doing

one of my mates has an e46 m3 convertible who i seen yesterday driving about with his wife n kid ,the hood down on a blazing day and i thought thats more like it!!

i could afford one of those and a 2-3k dedicated track car(205,astra 16v or the likes).

so ,do i break the sierra or not?????????

still dont think a e46 will put the same smile on your face as the cossie.
and the money your spending on the sapph you will only lose that in depreciation on the bmw anyway
if you do break it how much for the brakes

Its easy to get fed up with the cossies mate...

You ned to take it out and smoke everything else on the road then you know its worth it

You can get the fittings cheaper from the US and a clutch aint that bad, maybe Ł350 and it will do you for ages

They certainly do take the wind out your sails in ownership theres no denying that BUT

Get rid of it and i bet you will miss the fun , power that pins you in your seat and give you the rush etc etc

Ok so you wont miss constant oily fingers and the swearing at the fucker tho

It is a tough call ,i miss my cossie like fuck but dont miss the worry about whats that next squeek and rattle and how much is it gonnae cost to fix after spending thousands already

Gooooooooodbye Saff!!!!!!

The Bmw will make you smile EVERY time you drive it.

AND more importantly you don't have to drive it fast or like a cunt to make it fun.

You have just grown up mate

and its not a bad thing! so some spaz in a Cossie is faster in a straightline??

errrr???? AND????

Cossies just don't make sense as roadcars anymore to me I am afraid.

Renton is of the biggest petrolhead powerfreaks out there.... he is up in Scotland on a minidriving break holiday and wedding thing. What car has he taken? My Boxster!!!!

Fast?? NOPE!
fun? OH YES!!!
Rewarding to drive without risking a custodial sentance??? TOOOO right!

Cruising around with the wind in your hair enjoying your car at sane and safe speeds and not worrying about everylittle rattle and squeak is a GOOOD thing!!

Get the E46 convertable mate. AWESOME all round cars.

BUT BEFORE YOU GET TOOOOOO EXCITED.... THE ONE YOU HAVE LISTED IS A TOTAL MISPRICE. IT SHOULD BE Ł21,000 AT LEAST!!

You don't get 2002 E46 M3 Converts for Ł11k you wally

You REALLY won't regret it.

I'm driving down to Paris on Friday to watch England v South Africa. My choice of transport???

Carbon black E46 M3 Convert SMG with Red leather.

I know it will fly down there in total comfort and ease. I will get out like I have just driven it around the block not to another country!! 1000% reliable and comfy for me and the 2 mates I am taking. If its sunny, it will be roof down all the way! Can't wait!

Imo buy and good car as std and leave it like that Well onw of two things to alter is ok. but deffo not shit loads of stuff. But hey thats my way of thinking.

And that Convertible for 11k I Wish! i would have had one ages ago by now thats more like Ł22,000

I have thought about it ALOT over the last few months.

The only thing that stops me is the time and effort that has went into the car by AVA.

I also know that once the newness of whatever replaced it wore off that I would want the cossie back.
