Have to adjust it today on a m8's car and I have no idea!
Is it under the car or by the lever?

right this should work....

lift the hand brake gater
slacken the cable completely
Take the caliper off
remove pads
wind back the piston (tool needed but its not that "specail")

re-install the pads
put caliper back on

pump the pedal 3 times

then set a 2-3mm gap between the hand brake lever and the notched pin using the cable (ie tighten the cable and set the gap on the caliper).




WARNING

If you set them up wrong the problem is that the handbrake will simply release when the car is standing!!!!!!

alex, thanks for that m8, It's not my car so I ain't going to risk it, I told my m8 to take it to bmw probcost him £100 to adjust it!!lol
