Just wondered as i might be viewing a red sunroof model with 107k for what i think is cheap money. Just wanted to know if there was anything specific to look out for

headgaskets go easy so check for gunk under the oil cap and in the rad

worn bushes also common

cheap french rattly build quality but good fun to drive

and plenty of lift off oversteer

So basically the same as my old ax gt

I thought as much about the head gasket tbh, its about that mileage aswell arond the 100k mark. Tbh if the head gasket went i'd probably just slap a 1.6 16v motor in it

So basically look for head gasket failure and thats about it apart from it being a bean tin

mileage isnt really an issue regarding the headgasket. they just go, and often owners dont notice till they overheat.

my brothers one went twice, once down to over heating, and the other time due to gasket simply failing

it had only done 40k too (pug 106 1.1)

no real rust issues i'd guess, brakes are ok, good little cars....and cheap too

this one is up for 950 looks a decent straight car with a few little dents in the doors and need the stickers putting on it. The lad works for pug and said he can get a full set of stickers for 90 odd notes. Its got 4 owners 107k and little history sounds cheap to me what you think

they all have tiny parking dents cos they are made of tin foil

i know its not mega cheap but if i got the dings sorted and the stickers thrown in i think i could make on it, it has 12 months mot but only 1 months tax.
