Dear Natwest customer,

yep we have been getting a lot of complaints about this stuff atm

however I'm currently trailing a card verification pad for internet banking.

Basically makes it impossible for people to send payments out of your accounts unless you have this little calculator and the card for the account You put the card in, enter the code the online banking gives you and the pad tells you the correct responce. Type it in and only then will it send the money.

if your a natwest or rbs customer I'm sure you can order one.

We have a digital number calculator gadget thing that gives a new number each time, we then use that number to access the account... Not sure how secure it all is though...

So long as your home PC is fully firewalled up and everything else then you have done as much as you can. Unfortunatly sending data accross any network is never 100%

But the calculator and the RBS main computer are the only ones that know what responces should be given. So even thou it may not stop someone actually getting into your account on-line, it will stop them zapping money away.
