idle trouble with cossie, any idea ??? [SOLVED]

Default idle trouble with cossie, any idea ??? [SOLVED]

My cossie has some idle problems....

the rpm change every time from 550 to 1500, the AFR change too from 1.03 to 0.13

i had checked the idle valve, and had tried to change the idle screw and the CO trim, but it's the same.

i have siemens 55 lb with closed loop chip from stu


any idea ????

Is it from cold start or does it go after a few mins??

Mine was terrible until i changed my plugs then had it mapped, it was up and down 500-1500 too, mind you i'm saying go and have it mapped @ 300 plus quid a time mine was booked for mapping, but i;m trying to let you know how mine was..

the problem is all the time

i have change the plugs few weeks ago....

the problem is the same with an another chip, so ....

Air leak perhaps?
Got almost the same problem with mine and I think it's got a puncture in a vacuum hose somewhere.
Have to track it down though.

today, i had dimounted all part of the idle valve, i had cleaned and after a touch of wd40 ....

and know, it s work fine

i had already clean the valve last time but i hadnt dismounted all parts

so, the best way is to dismount completly the valve and clean

if you know somewhere with a chemical cleaning bath you can stick it in there without dismantling it completely and it should be squeaky clean im currently removing mine as i have the same problem

yes, but it's very quick and simple to do.....

you must just count when you remove the screw
