If its a mk 5 dont bother it will make it worse....jut use a piper panel in the standard airbox

yh, for the mk5 your best off with a panel filter, but he's talking about the mk6. An induction kit with a decent cold air feed will make a bit of difference, but you'll only really notice gains in power when combining it with other mods (full exaust, cams, remap etc.).

yeah thats one of the reasons i didnt bother with an induction kit for my Escort, just got a magnex exhaust on there for looks and sound
