Default Finally - handed my notice in!!! Big change in career:D

Working with people with learning disabilities, alittle different from my finance/audit position. Managed to get my notice period down from 1 month to 1 week
No PC, No Phone, No Desk, No power crazy career minded surroundings

will be a big change and alot more relaxing i would imagine

Might even turn my mobile off so Spiky cant text me

your having a laugh- it aint stressfull and it is one of the most rewarding things I think anyone can do..

But it aint relaxing, its bloody hard work- the sort of attention they need is second to none, they're like a baby your own size and they dont know when to stop.

I taught mentally handicapped children and young adults and also disabled mentally handicapped children and young adults to Sail and to Kayak for 6 years.

I thouraghly (sp) enjoyed it and as I say is the most rewarding thing ever but the effort and time that goes into it is defo not relaxing, but very reqarding..

Best of luck matey- I think if you have the right attitude towards it and smile lots you will do absolutly ace- their faces when they achieve somet is awesome.

Shings, I was a sailing instructor for 5 years, awsome job just a shame its seasonal and not enough money in it. Maybe this will be harder but certainly will be more rewarding and i meant less stressfull as in more relaxing compared to the sh!t i currently deal with

yeah dunno if you can call passing accounting exams a waste of time but i sure wont be doing any account work now

Spiky its the only way my solicitor said i could stop you stalking me without calling the police

best of luck with the change!

as you have experience with finance/audit wondered if you could help me out? about to start my dissatation and have chosen to do something audit based to get me in with the fit teacher!

any suggestions for a good title? have to come up with it yourself and have never been any good at it!
