You need to use a low pressure filter before the pump. It is worth doing to protect it.

gus they are high pressure filters i run those same billet filters after my pump but my pump is an in tank pump which has a filter in the tank, having an extra filter wont hurt, but i dont thinkl its needed.

thanks

what fpr are you going to use mine is an aeromotive 13109

Best way is to check the flow/min @ 0 pressure.

with filter before and after, then with just after.and then no filter.
and then compare the results,
but to make the test accuarate, you will need 13.5 volts @ pump at all times, and the same amount of fuel in the tank at the start of each test.

Other than that, as long as the tails on the billet filters are none restrictive (same bore as fuel line) it wont be a issue.
The one i sold you was 12mm end's,
