As above.
Will be taking the S2 to crail in a couple of weeks so want to prepare the car, and myself as best i can so ive a few questions
Is it worth ditching the rear seats for the day?
What sort of time should i expect/aim for from my 150bhp (ATW) s2?
How do i launch?
![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
The 5k an side step the clutch technique? or i assume there is a proper/more efficient way to do it?
Any help appreciated

Rear seats weight bugger all, dont bother, passenger seat weighs more.
Spare tyre does too.
Launching is going to be purely down to practice, gonna depend on the grip of the car and surface.

AP Organic racing clutch in it, with toyo proxe t1-s rubber.
What kind of revs should i be holding it at?
Should i be expecting in the 15's? is a high 14 out of the question?
Might take a run out tonight for some practice launches, that seems to be the hard bit!

when I have been to santa pod I usually go with the ride the clutch technique to get going, holding the revs just over 2k to limit wheelspin, but i dont have a turbo, so that might make it a touch different to how others go.

In my old rst i put blocks in the rear springs to keep the front down under acc.
If you do want to take some weight out then take the rear seat and the passenger seat, spare wheel and tools out, that would give you an good 40kg, plus if you can have about 10L of petrol in it(if you know what i mean) that would do it.
Start wise, hold it between 2500-3000rpm (rs-turbo`s come on boost at app. 2800rpm) then release the clutch and give full throttle at the same time, if it goes to the limiter, then start with a little bit lower rpm, vica-verca, it should hold about 4-5k rpm when you release the clutch and the wheels are spinning, if it grips and goes out, try a little more rpm
It´s ok to get some wheelspinn(to hold the rpm in the power-range) but not TOO much wheelspinn.
The last takes some practise
