Unless i'm not seeing it but theres no Front Mounted Intercooler fitted there.... all i'm seeing is RS4 IC's which are only good enough for around 450bhp

I love this comment from the orignal thread.

"Problem with Audi is they have compared themselves to the BMW M's, when in truth it's different kit for different tastes.

Both cars will be damn fun, fast and enjoyable, just in different ways.

Give me a biturbo RS4 for getting from A to B in relatively poor weather nice and briskly with something that won't fit in a coupe's boot, along with some cheap thrills and overtaking grunt aplenty.

Give me an E46 M3 for an early summer morning hoon across some challenging roads.

Seems to have always been this way, Audi with a bit more power (often turbo), 4wd and an Avant taking the limelight (or being the only variant), while BMW make something NA with rwd. Different cars for different people, comparing them will always lead you to the point that they are for different things, so one will always win when comparing the things it focusses on!

Dave"

Spot on Dave (who ever you are).

they are are all bloody quick, and i would argue quicker than we are(?). So you take you choice. Me for one enjoys, no help, no gadgets, no electronics and RWD.

I am in two minds about 4wd and the whole audi thing, god they good looking things and I dont doubt its abilities in the wet etc, but hell, i slow in the wet and shite weather anyway.

Me - I would go for the Mseries with the traction off...
