what oil pressure range should a std cosworth 4x4 engine ideally read between in PSI and whats the minimum that you should hope to see on a guage before damage starts to occur?
is 25 PSI a decent minimum as a warning- I think the OE Ford pressure warning light comes on around 5PSI?!?

Who sells a decent oil sandwich plate and cooler with fitting kit- and remote oil filter kit- whats recommended to replace my oil filter modine and is a 13 row about the right size or should I go larger.

The cossie is to be used on track and I cant use the usually great modine as I am using 909 engine mounts and the filter looks a tight fit
Maybe a 4x4 remote oil filter will fit over the arm?

i have my warning light on my SPA gauge set to 30 psi.


Its on at idle but I know if it comes on while driving I have probs.

This way I still have half a chance of saving the engine

Brilliant reply Euan thanks, I will sort myself a switch at 25PSI just to be sure, I hope I never see it apart from idle. out of interest what PSI is seen on yours at idle then or do you just know its less than 30? thanks again
