how long is a piece of string? if its so far out of tune that it doesnt run then youd have lost all of it and any point in between.

in all truth there is only 3 things to check really boost,fuel pressure,co all the rest is set

Ive seen a stage3 car push out far far less than a stg1 car should push out before.

Was a shite map in the chip more than anything it seems.

that not quite true as you need to check to fuelling which requires the proper equiqment its not just a case of checking the fuel presure , boost and co as some chips run different fuel pressures aswell

A common problem on cossies is crank pulley wear and is usually overlooked.
The woodruff key way wears allowing the pulley to move with respect to the crank shaft.

This causes the ignition to be retarded in most cases losing power and in
extreme cases, causes ignition to be advanced which could lead to a melt down !

I had this exact problem many years ago.

You could easily lose 100bhp if bad enough.
My friends stg one has just done 191, 191, 228, afr was ok up to a point that dodgy pump could not keep up!!

Think ive found a car im finally happy with , tbh never really took to the cossies for some reason , heart was never truely in it, can you believe i dont want to drink so i can run about i my car
