I found their customer service was shite. I went down and paid Ł50 towards getting my car set-up and was told they would ring me when the actuator I needed was in (which as it transpired I didn't need anyway). Did they ring me? Nope. I rang 5 times over the next couple of months and was always told they would get back to me but they never did. So I was Ł50 quid down and no set-up. I went to Engine Advantages and found them much more helpful.

I'm sure Grove are very good tuners but I won't use them again.

Rudey
so you paid 50 notes for the actuator? the way you say it it looks like you got nothing and they took your 50?
Thats right, I paid Ł50 and got nothing! It was booked in for a stage 1 set-up which is what it was already running. When I got there they said it needed a different actuator which they didn't have in stock and so they couldn't set it up there and then. They asked for Ł50 from the Ł200 set-up fee with my paying the rest plus the cost of the new actuator when I came back. They were going to ring me when they got it in. I heard nothing more, even after 5 messages left asking Mark to bell me - still nothing. So, I gave up and went to Engine Advantages and it transpires the actuator was the correct one for the stage 1 setup anyway. So it cost me Ł50 + fuel for nothing.

Having said that Mark did seem keen and I suspect its just their shit customer service that lets them down. I don't think they were trying to rip me off but they need to get more organsied FFS.

With a T34 whether you go greys or blues won't make any difference its just that greys will fuel more if you upgrade your turbo in the fiuture so better to go for them

Rudey
your 50 notes you couldnt get through ect so you left it at that so they ended up with an actuator at some point i take it? so they wouldve been 50 out of pocket
Er, don't see your point mate. I did get through 5 times and spoke to someone other than Mark who said I would need to speak to him and he was out/unavailable and he never rang me back. However, maybe I'm being unreasonable and maybe they are going to ring me soon - its only been 5 months! The only one out of pocket thus far is me.

.48 housing will be fine, you'll struggle to see 380 bhp with it though, a nice 350-360 would be ideal.... with GREYS............

I will do next time i'm over that way but I don't hold out much hope. However, the purpose of my posting on this thread was not to moan about being out of pocket and start posting up smilies which is what most armchair heroes seem to do. I posted to let others hear my experience of their customer service which is what the original post was about. In my experience it was rubbish.

I've never had any problems getting in touch with them.

They serviced my Escort RS Cosworth earlier in the year and I was very impressed with them.
