Default My insurance renewal

I got my insurance renewal through Friday, I'm 18 (nearly 19) and I've got a 1.6 Zetec mk6 Escort.

For me to insure it last year, 3rd party @ 17 with no no claims it was £1400

My renewal, all the same, but 18 with 1 years no claims....

£700!

I'm well pleased as thats half!! Still a rip off I know but I'm glad its so much cheaper!

I told them about my s/s exhaust too and they put that on there at no extra cost

Getting the first year out of the way claim free is a real help to getting your insurance down to more sensible levels

Would HATE to think what the Saff costs you to insure then, if a 1.6 Escort is £700

top stuff mate!

Put your dad or something on the policy as a named driver, this will help to bring the premium down.

With me as the main driver on my mondeo and my dad as the second driver, knocks almost £250 off

Where do you live mate

Phone up as yourself, and just ask for a quote in that case

Or try it on the net, that never seems to work for me tho

That was 3rd party not fully comp??

Same, my fiesta turbo was 1100 in mothers name and me as a named driver.

Although I'm getting quotes of around £1400 for an M3 in my own name with 0 ncb and 3 points at 20.

Loving being older

Wonder what they want for a saph.
