thought i was gonna get jumped tonight!
putting some fuel in the scort in a closed tesco petrol station (pay at pump job like) in the middle of bristol at about 12.30am, im stood there fucking about trying and failing to get my card to work and i hear voices. a load of lads walk into the forecourt and walk towards my dirrection chatting then they go quiet but carry on walking 
i tense up a bit getting ready for them to approach me. im hidden behind the pump at this point so cant see them although they can see me stood there, they walk towards me then parrallel to the pump about 5 or 6 feet the other side of and walk past in a line ALL staring at me i glanced up with a probably quiet mean looking face on and made eye contact with a few of em while trying not to stare. luckily they kept walking and fucked off with no hassle but for a few seconds then i was PROPERLY worried. id be confident if i had to go against 2 or maybe even 3 of them if they didnt rush me at once, but there was at least 6 of the cunts, i wouldve stood no fucking chance had they came over in the mood for a fight id have been fucked, nobody about and my keys to my car there...
properly worried me, and im 6'9", nearly 19 stone, a doorman so used to having to deal with cunts like this and fairly capable of sticking up for myself...FUCK knows what some timid young lad, old bloke or woman wouldve felt like in that situation!! fuck knows what they were carrying aswell.....
really hit home tonight what this country and youth culture is turning into, not good for the future generations at all...

if you were average size like most of us you prob would have trouble they prob saw the size of you an thought better of it mate

isnt everyone jumping to conclusions here? half a dozen lads walking past not bothering anyone and not saying anything who might well have been on there way to rescue some poor old age pensioners kitten from a tree .doent say much to me about the state of the country and youth culture.

its a sad thing when you now see a group of yutes and you automatically switch to alert mode stu i bet as a doorman you do that everywere i used to in pubs when not working cant help scanning about weighing up the threats if any thing is now it aint fists is it mate i bet nearlly all wouldve been tooled up be safe big lad

I am 5'10", 21 1/2 st and still worry about going through the high street every fri/sat night with me lad(10), the behaviour of some of todays youth is disgusting, but it's not solely the youth, a lot is just piss heads druggies of any age.
I was at a market today(Snetterton) and saw a young lad had bought a BB gun, he was with a man of about 65/70 years of age and another his own age 13/15, he promptly unwrapped gun and threw the wrapping down on the floor, whilst the older guy(grandad?) watched him !!
I have done door work and repo work, which is a HUGE amount scarier, but as you say you never know what they might have, I think you did the right thing, glad it was all ok for you, you just can't tell what is what these days.
