Just got the beast home and WOW - amazing, crusing along on the motorway at 80mph with the cruise control doing the work is such a weird feeling

Wound it upto 120 and it just pulled and pulled, wanted to go much faster but I don't want to be eating porrage

Absolute dream to drive, very very comfy and for such a big car its so nimble

Thats where I bought it from

The torque from low revs is stunning, really comes on song at 2500 rpm and absolutely flys

The speedo makes like a swiss time piece and moves in one sweeping motion all the way from 0 to the end

very nice. i test drove a 530d se. minging looking car but it drove so nice. went very well. in the end i bought a 530i sport petrol on a y plate, paid £7800 for it with 70k on clock, 1 owner. fooking good car, lowered it lots, put some decent tyres on it, and other bits n bobs. very underestimated cars, enjoy, heres mine

Stunning

You've got 18" parallel alloys on yours? mine are only the 17" version lol, wide tyres tho - 255 on the back and 235 on the front

I need to change the front foglights on mine as one is cracked

My choice was either black or blue so I'm happy as hell

And the cherry on the cake is the HID headlights

The SE spec motors are a bit crap and bland looking unfortunately

I don't care if its original or not - its bloody true

If you can't appreciate that someone wants something a bit different to the norm as a dream car then your head must be so far up your arse that you need a glass stomach to see out of

265's on back, 235's on front. wish i had zenon lights, dip beam lights are verging on being dangerous.

HID kits on ebay for £140 and then you'll need a ballast resistor to stop the computer thinking your headlights are bust

They're awesome motors. Best looking 5 series the E39.

I hired one once and drove from Pymouth to Paisley and back. Awesome car Fuel economy was rubbish though, but thats BMWs fault for letting you set the cruise control at 110 mph

Absolutely delighted with it Dave

Will love it even more when I can use it - no tax at the moment, and I refuse to pay for 1 months tax to get 4 days use

Shitty escort for another 5 days *sigh* lol

Absolutly stunning Chris - yours has one thing I wish mine had - the screen for dvd, satnav etc etc, but its nearly £600 second hand and then you have to find all the other bits on top to fit it
