Im sure its been covered before, but I cant find anything on the search...
Does it make any difference performance/heat wise if its bare alloy or painted matt black?

Whats the best paint to use then? as i want to paint mine whne its done...but thinking it might be a different paint than halfrauds rattle can styleeee LOL

Mine is painted black, makes it invisible when you walk past the car 
Thats about 4 years its been on the car and the black paint is still 99% intact, some minor chips due to stones, etc...
