Interesting to see that the fastest ever was 175mph on a Blade. He got 6 weeks time and 2 year ban.

Previous highest car was 156 He got a five-month jail sentence and a four-year driving ban.

Curiously a guy who crashed his car which kiled 2 passengers has walked from court with a Ł250 fine and a two-year driving ban.

Thats just it, this country is an absolute joke for this very reason.

99% of drivers have gone over the limit before, ok not to this extent, but i bet MANY would if they could.

Maybe this was dangerous, maybe it wasnt. However, it doesnt deserve a prison sentence based on the above in my opinion.

All these people beating people up, robbing peoples homes, and smashing cars up, assaults etc, and the majority get away with a caution.

Funny how an 18 year old kid can nick a car, do 100mph through a village, get chased round for 20 miles by half a dozen traffic cars and the copter, smash into 5 parked cars, going through 12 red lights and driving through the local park nearly hitting pedestrians.........and get away with what............a 2 year driving ban, Ł200 fine and an ''official police caution''.

Exactly mate its bollocks , but they know the general middle class can afford huge fines and generally won't argue, hence why they do so many people for relativly minor offences

Most judges don't live in the real world either, so expect a stupid long sentance and huge fine as he will be " making an example of him"

This is where it all falls down!

I cringe everytime i see Roadwars or Police camera action and the scrots and chavs that nick cars, crash cars and generally terrorise neighbourhood get away with suspended sentences and 'cautions'.

Whereas this middle class guy who A, has the audacity to own a Porsche and B, go over the 70mph limit will probably get a jail sentence....

Its all gone to rat shite.

I have an idea.

Selected people, i.e all PF users should get a remote control handset and when a scrot is caught we get to punch a button to decide the tariff!

So for example a scrot in a nicked Vauxhall Belmont crashes into 5 parked cars - we can punch in 12mths jail on our handsets (this would be the minimum in the new PF sentencing handbook). If he has previous then we can simply double or treble etc.

The middle class guy with the Porsche, we can decide what fine he gets - say for example, lending it to me for the weekend with a full tank of fuel!!!

The no licence thing is not by choice, i got a nasty bang on the head a few years ago and i have to be given the all clear b4 i can even have a prov licence, than i can start thinking about doing my tests.

I just love cossies thats all, when i was 20 i got my first cossie with 98 k on clock, im now 28 and it only has 102k on the clock.

My escort had 48k on clock when i got it it now has 51k on the clock and ive had that 6 years.

My r1 has 9k on clock.

The thing is if i would of spent the money on anything else car wise by now i would of lost alot on it, but as we all know cossies are only going to get more and more hard to come by in years to come as more and more get crashed, nicked.

I look at the cars as a little investment cos when i do come to sell them in lets say 20 years time they might be worth more than i give for them.

Well to be honest m8 im having to fight for the right to drive, because of the extent of the injury the dvla think im not fit to drive but ive never blacked out, gone dizzy or needed to go back to the hospital for any reason to do with my head since.

Ive been onto my mp and he is going to team up with my doc and try to force the dvla to give me a chance and get a dvla doc to have a look at me and let him make his mind up.

My brother in law is in the army and bassed in my town and has a nice runway on camp so im trying to get him to get me some time on the runway without being kicked off, you see ive also got a 900cc fireblade kart and ive taken it to the runway a few times and been kicked off

he must have been caught by one of them mobile camera vans as i thought if you went through a speed camera at 150+ they cant get a photo as you are going to fast, like they tried to prove on top gear.
