There is a temp gauge..... you just need to know how to alter the LCD readout on the clocks to show it!

Fuckin great idea that was. Day I sold mine was going round the m25 to meet the bloke who was buying it, all of a sudden had about 20 lights flash up on me dials like a space ship and it lost all power. Pulled over, thought fuck fuck fuck. Went round to pop the bonnet, steam was bellowing out of it. One of the heater hoses had split and was pissing water everywhere. Luckily got it home and put a new hose on and everything was fine. Would have been a lot handier if it had had a gauge though. With regards to LCD display, fair enough but who is gonna do it everytime they get in the car?

Graham Goode sells a gauge and bezel for the pleasure of £300 so theres always that option

rabmc,
As KSA-Cossie said..... that is what I meant.

I own a Scoob, so don't ask me what you have to do .... but I do know you can do it (my mate has) hence the response.

Just hold down the trip button, then turn the ignition on while still holding the trip down and it should come up after a few seconds. Have to run through a few displays but u will finally get the temp one up

something along the lines of ignition on, hold the mileage button on the clocks for 10 seconds, ignition back off then start. It aint actually that but its something alike.

nah clap your hands whistle and fart is just to get in it, to get the water temp up you have to pat your head rub your belly and sing the birdy song backwards in french. But if all that fails press the trip switch down and turn the ignition on at the same time it should show up after a few seconds

How would having a guage be any different?

If anything, a light is better as it attracts your attention....

Or you could get a scan gauge for around £80 delivered that shows a whole load of other information too.
